Your question is as old as Chevy itself. You can keep asking it forever and never get the right answer - because there is NO right answer. It is a rivalry that will continue long after both companies are defunct. Get the MoPar guys involved and you'll have a three way tie. I am and old time Chevy guy, but after being in the auto business for a long time, I found that, realistically speaking, both Chevy and Ford have an equal number of good and bad points. And while I probably won't ever own a Ford (especially a truck, hahaha), I must announce that they are probably about the same overall.I want to know the truth, Which brand is better as far as dependability, Chevy or Ford?
Get whatever you want, take care of it, maint etc, and see what happens.
If you want a dependable car, go with a honda, vovlo, or bmw. I own all 3 and I never have problems with them. American made cars tend to break easier compaired to the non.I want to know the truth, Which brand is better as far as dependability, Chevy or Ford?
i dont kno bout fords but from my experience with the tahoe %26amp; trail blazer, i'd say that chevys are pretty durable and dependable.. its a good make
Its not the brand , its the price. If you buy an el cheapo model be ready to pay for repairs after the warranty runs out .I want to know the truth, Which brand is better as far as dependability, Chevy or Ford?
look around and you will see more chevys on the road than fords so that should tell you something.
Neither!....Toyota is the most dependable.
Toyota has the highest customer satisfaction, that's what makes them the number one manufacturer, everyone keeps going back to them. No, I don't own a Toyota. I have friends that do and friends that don't, and I'm always working on the ones that are not Toyota.
Well it really depends on the indvidual vehicle. Typically the cheaper the vehicle, the more repairs it will need. Take for example the Chrysler PT Cruiser and the Dodge Neon. They are mechanicaly similar (not identical) but typically the Cruiser does better for relibility. But then you have people that have driven their Neons for better than 150,000 miles and Cruisers that don't last 75,000. It has a lot to do with maintaince, but it just depends.
They both suck. Corvette owner. My BMW is a real car though.
