What's the best "classic car" of all time?

Some people like Fords and hate Chevys. Other people think only the Germans can make good cars. What car do you think really blew 'em way in its day, and why are they still so popular today? What's the best "classic car" of all time?
Any of the Auburn, Cord or Dussenburgs from the 30's. They put the class in classic. What's the best "classic car" of all time?
68 Camaro
The Hudson Hornet, in it's day quite a stealth rip 'em up car. What's the best "classic car" of all time?
Mustangs! 1964 and a half and 1965 in particular. Awesome AGAIN now days!!
Hudson Hornet, Fill it full of moonshine and still outrun the cops. Or pick up a girl and outrun her dad. No other car except maybe a souped up 39 or 40 ford could haul a lot of moonshine and still handle well. Get on the web and look up Marshall Teague, Junior Johnson, or Smokey YunickWhat's the best "classic car" of all time?
your asking a opinionated question? i think the Chevy tri-5's were popular then and are today. maybe it was a cuda('70 hemi green?) that went for $1,000,000 dollars on Barret Jackson.
My first car a 1970 amc hornet sst green no doubt..
67 GTX. It would do every thing it said it could right out of the box. Including Smoking GTO's
Either an Olds 442 or a Roadrunner, cars just dont have class anymore!!!!!!!
Mustang
The Ford GT. Ford got upset when it could not buy Ferrarri in the 1960's so they set out to beat them. In 1964, 1965 and 1966 the Ford GT smoked the Ferrarris. Ford reintroduced the Ford GT in 2003-2005.
1970 Chevelle Super Sport.....One of the most collectable cars ever.
The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40. It is boxy, noisey, goes slow, but it looks cool and can go almost anywhere.
Here's an interesting observation that I once heard from radio host Bruce Williams: Cars get popular about 35 years out from when they are made. Guys that drooled over cars in high school finally get money in their 50's and go out and buy the by-then classic.

So, the answer has ranged from the Hudson, the 57 Chevy, the Mustang, and now the Camaro/Chargers leading into the the early 70's.

Personally, I'd go for the Stutz Bearcat. Mr. Burns and Fat Tony both had one.
mustang shelby cobra gt....rowr....grrrr....off the hook.
1967 Shelby GT 500.
1969 Mercedes SL280 black with red interior
The Nash Metro
E Type Jaguar. It was the best looking fastest road car available in its day. It is still the best looking roadster today and I would love to own one.
