G.M. didn,t have a small car, its cheaper to buy into a company thats already producing a small car than it is to tool-up and build one from scratch. Its all about economics.
I bought a 2004 Optra-5 SE, its fully loaded with air,tilt, cruise,power everything and is really nice ,so far no complaints.
The Optra is one up from the Aveo.
