Why do i see so many 1990 accords?

is it weird that i see lots of older Honda vehicles, like 1990s for example, and if you look for Chevy and fords the same age, you see none? is this because Honda vehicles are far longer lasting, or because Honda makes higher quality vehicles, or because chevys and fords dont last long because they suck, or a combination of all?Why do i see so many 1990 accords?
I worked at a Honda dealership for 1 year around 1994. The early '90's Accord's were almost perfect. Every manufacture has to issue Technical Service Bulletins, aka TSB's, from time to time on certain repeat problems so the new car tech know's how to fix a minor flaw in design that the public usually know's nothing about. Then there's Recall's which means there's a major known problem.

A TSB will address a squeak in the dash of a new car. A recall will address the brake pedal going to the floor in a new car.

Anyway, you could print out all of the early '90's Accord's TSB's and Recall's and fit them all in your wallet! They where/are that good!!Why do i see so many 1990 accords?
you're right by all accounts. most of the older Hondas lasted well beyond 200,000 miles. American manufacturers can build decent pickup trucks, but they're just now starting to build decent small cars(and even those aren't really promising). there's a reason why cars like Hondas have higher resale value than a Chevy that cost the same price when it was new.Why do i see so many 1990 accords?
No your right, a combination of all. Honda's are generally more reliable and will last longer with less maintenance then a Ford or Chevy will. Normally people neglect their cars after a while and you'll find that a neglected Ford or Chevy won't last as long as a neglected Honda. Why do i see so many 1990 accords?
i see one eve5ry day but then again i own it, a 90 civic. i am not a ford fan at all, the gm vehicles on the other hand, i do like. i have one of those also form the 60s.
