Whats a good fast car under 6k?

im looking to buy my first car and want something thats fast and drives well. I will probably do some basic modds to it like headers, intake, exhaust. Ive been looking at late 1996-1999s bmw 3 seris, 2000-2004 eclipse gts, 1999-2004 mustangs, it must be under 6k and automatic. NO civics, chylers, toyotas, chevys,. I want a sports car not a gay grampa car.Whats a good fast car under 6k?
Well, being for your first car you really shouldn't get anything too fast... But as for the answer to your question... Mustangs are the fastest "cheap" cars you'll get. They are not exactly reliable though.



Honda Preludes are fast if you get a 97+, or you could get an earlier SI or Vtec edition. They are also FWD so they are easier to control (again, in my opinion) as a new driver along with their reliability. BMW's are always fast, but expensive upkeep. Eclipses are decent I guess, but aren't that reliable either and often aren't that fast without an engine swap. Judging from the year ranges you have, you're looking for a car that looks cool... well if your one of them ricer kids then go for a honda, its funny how kids put a huge *** spoiler and exhaust to make it sound laud as hell and it doesnt even go fast....but if you are really looking for somthing fast go with a 2002 camaro or a cobalt ss you can find one easily for that price and mods are great on these cause they actually increase HPWhats a good fast car under 6k?
