If you don't drive a Chevy, are you going to win a Cup race this year?

The only Ford driver to score a win is Matt Kenseth, and the Dodges have been pretty hit and miss. Chevrolets have pretty much dominated the season up to this point. Mark Martin knows how good the Chevys are now. I wonder if he regrets all those years in a Ford?If you don't drive a Chevy, are you going to win a Cup race this year?
Good point

Chevys are dominating, but if J.J. keeps it up this question may turn into, Is anyone that isn't in Hendrick going to win a race this year.

But eventually a Ford will win, toyota doesnt stand a chanceIf you don't drive a Chevy, are you going to win a Cup race this year?
yes you are
YesIf you don't drive a Chevy, are you going to win a Cup race this year?
No .you can't
thats a dumb questionIf you don't drive a Chevy, are you going to win a Cup race this year?
yea
nope because Chevrolet's are American
No you are not going to win a race, Fords ******* suck, and ridicule me all you ******* want. Thats the truth.
yes, cuz there are is roush racing, and there are tracks that are dominated by them like California, Michigan, all those. fords can win, but if toyota wants to win it would have to be because of a fuel mileage thing or some whacked up thing. Dodges can win races, and also there are road course races, not to mention at daytona and dega anything can happen.
My husband is a ford fan. As for me as long as Smoke wins I'm good.
well you forgot to mention toyota but i think we all know by know that they dont stand a frickin chance. but yea chevys dominate. their a better built car........ well motor, cuz all the cars are the exact same now instead of STOCK cars !!

as long as its a chevy sitting in first at the end of the year ( particularly the 20) i could really care less.
well duh!!1 its a chevyy! la doy. and of course dale jr. gonna win so.. he drives a chevy and their ya go
I hope not.
it's not the car it's the driver. all of the cars are the same but the drivers make the difference
Yes. The other manufacturers will score wins this year. Kasey Kahne hasn't had much success this year, but look for him to pull off at least one, if not more, wins this summer. I'd also put money on Elliot Sadler putting his Dodge in Vicory Lane sometime this season. Don't count out any of the Rousch Ford's neither. These wins will be few, though. Chevy definately has the winning edge, both in their car programs and in the talent that drives the Chevy's.
Yes they will, but not nearly as often as Chevy's. Even Mark Martin is seeing the light this year in his HMS powered Chevy!
first of all chevy win mores races because chevy out numbers ford Dodge. Theres 20 Chevy teams 9 Ford teams 12 Dodge teams and who cares about the Toyota teams. So year chevy's chance are always better at winning the race and Ford really only has 5 good teams those being the fords of Roush. The Yates cars are having problems and Robby Gordon teams just ant that good. As for Mark Martin he said that he doesnt really feel big different in the chevy car from the ford car. He said that Roush-yates motors are just as strong as then Henderick motors. He said the only really different is the chevy have more down force.,
no
Hmmmm..........

Yes. The Jack Roush guys love to win at michigan. Ford has reduced talent (wood bros, RYR), and fewer teams. Dodge teams are hit %26amp; miss. Peneske %26amp; Everenham at the top. Petty Enterprises in the gutter. Toyota, is just new and fighting that top 35 rule. They have to spend time on Quals rather than race set ups like the rest do.
Fords and Dodges will win a few more races this year, but with the way Chevy is dominating, chevy might as well prepare the commercial to congradulate their driver for winning the championship, all they gotta do is find out who is their champ.
Other manufacturers will enjoy success. Toyota will make strides this year, but they definitely have their work cut out for themselves this year. I thought that moving to the COT was going to be their best chance - since it was new for everyone - but they just didn't get it done. They are devoting a ton of resources to the effort though, and I'd look for them to get better each year. They will be competitive with Ford, Chevy, and Dodge before you know it.

As far as Ford is concerned, for a really good analysis, I suggest checking out this from Ford Driver Greg Biffle who says that Chevy has been ahead of Ford for the past 12-18 months. He tells it like it is (2nd article down on the landing page):

It seems all the rules are based on numbers from chevy.Ford and Dodge had some changes that seem to have gonethe wrong direction.

Another manufacturer will win but not sure which track this first half the season.
ask Bobby Labonte!
I guess, I believe a FORD can win only if Matt Kenseth is Driving.. I have hope in Kasey Kahne.
yes moron matt kenseth already won at california so why ask a stupid question ,besides there are more chevys than any make in the field and as i recall a dodge driver won the most races last year
Always Tough in the early part of the Season, And since Gordo is doing well you get a Bunch of Chevy Teams that are doing really well.. But Ford will get it going, Toyota will Not win anything this year, Maybe Just Maybe they will get a Extra car or two into Talladega, With THE COT but No Poles or Wins For Toyota, Put Tony, Jeff, Or Jimmy in a Ford and your question would be if you don't drive a Ford will.... Good Question...
yes ford and dodge will win some races just it is a fact there are more chevys in the field i am a chevy guy but will say that matt kenseth will be in this hunt for the championship in his ford i dont much like it but thats one ford that will run also think if not for bad luck so would kasey kahne he won the most races of any driver last year in a dodge so yep there are some good non chevy teams i belive these are the only threats to chevys dominance because they are really the only realy good drivers not in a chevy
Kasey will get hot again real soon, and knock off several wins. The only other Dodge driver I really see winning would be Elliott Sadler. Scott Riggs could win at Lowe's if he loses the bad luck. He's always fast there. David Stremme could win on pit strategy, as he has been running well this year.

As for Ford, I'm sure Kenseth will get at least another win or two. Carl Edwards will revist Victory Lane this year. Biffle should get at least one win (he still isn't back to his old self, so I don't think he'll get multiple wins this year). McMurray could find himself in VL with some luck as well, since it appears he has turned it around.

Toyota? Nope, not this year. They can't even get a team in the top-35. Vickers is their only shot, and that will only be accomplished with pit strategy or another bump-n-run.

As for te bowtie brigade, they will win the majority of the races. No surprise there. Chevy winners this year (besides JJ, Kyle and Kevin): Dale Jr, Jeff Burton, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, and Clint Bowyer. Mears, too, if he and his new team can get it together. Especially a COT race, as HMS has been HOT.
NOPE!!! JEFF GORDON DRIVES A CHEVY
Yes but they will have to try harder.
Only if your name is Kenseth, Edwards, Kahne or Sadler.

Seriously, NASCAR needs to pull their heads out of GM's asses and do something about this. I remember back in the day when if a single manufacturer was dominant, they would tweak the cars so that the others had a chance to catch back up. Now with this so-called attempt to "level the playing field," it's skewered it even more. Hopefully it'll get to the point where they FORCE teams to switch manufacturers, but it'll be a cold day in hell when that happens. Say what you want Chevy fanbois, cause it's probably just a bunch of bull anyway.

And as for Mark Martin, he should've won the championship back in 1990...or NASCAR shouldn't have started kissing Jeffy's @ss back in the mid-'90s...or they should've held the green flag at Talladega in '02. You've got some nerve to ask that...Martin was the face of Ford for nearly twenty years. Hell, he could've drove a Mini-f'ing-Cooper for all I care, but you'd see it up front on Sunday. Mark Martin is one of the greatest drivers to get behind the wheel of a stock car, no matter what manufacturer he drives for.
