Looking for good restraunt is So City or County, prefer Mexican or Indian Food?

Looking for some place that is not over priced or over crowded. Not one of those national chains with prepared foods. I have already tried LaPachanga and Chimichangas as well as the standbys of Hacienda, Chevys, Chewys, Casa G..Looking for good restraunt is So City or County, prefer Mexican or Indian Food?
There's also Lily's (Mexican) just south of Chippewa on Kingshighway. Tandoori Hut is the nearest Indian food (Hampton and Flyer) that I can think of, but I've never been there, so I can't vouch for the food.Looking for good restraunt is So City or County, prefer Mexican or Indian Food?
Try "The Bean House" in Lemay. I'm a native St. Louisan now living in San Antonio. My husband came from San Antonio; he thought this place was authentic (and cheap). Now I pretty well have to agree. Some people sing Arcelia's praises (it's in Soulard). There is a restaurant on Hampton between Hampton Village and Bishop DuBourg called Pueblo Solis; owner's mama in the kitchen came from San Antonio but pricy. La Tropicana Latin Market off S. Kingshwy has a Mexican kitchen with dine in patio with great, affordable food.Looking for good restraunt is So City or County, prefer Mexican or Indian Food?
Try India Rasoi, or Las Lamas? on woodson. Pf changs is good too, but not in the genre who asked.Looking for good restraunt is So City or County, prefer Mexican or Indian Food?
For Mexican, try Pueblo Salis on Hampton near Eichelberger or Arcelias in Lafayette Square. Different styles but both are good.
