How to adjust the valves on 1997 mitsubishi eclipse spyder?

my mom has a 97 eclipse spyder and i need to adjust the valves,im not sure if they are self adjusting or not,her engine chatters bad and i need to tighten the valves.i have done this before on chevys and fords and older hondas ,but have never messed around with mitsubishi,i just dont know if you can adjust the valves like an older vehicle.any insight would be greatly aprieciatedHow to adjust the valves on 1997 mitsubishi eclipse spyder?
use a feeler gauge and the correct size socket. thats all. seeing as how youve done it on hondas, its the same as any honda engine, stick the feeler guage inbetween the valve and the i forget what its called you know what i mean though, what pushes the valve. put it between there, just make sure u leave alittle stick when u put in the feeler gauge and thats it, zero lash. oh and use the angled feeler gaugesHow to adjust the valves on 1997 mitsubishi eclipse spyder?
overhead cam engines don't have lifters and rockers, the "lifters" are no more than a solid waffer that the cam lifts and lowers, the cam may be worn.
