Hey Nascar fans! Are you worried about the goverment making Chevy and dodge pull out of Nascar?

I am! I may not watch if there are no chevys!Hey Nascar fans! Are you worried about the goverment making Chevy and dodge pull out of Nascar?
If Obama is a Nascar fan, he might let Government Motors(GM) stay in. Otherwise, they are toast.Hey Nascar fans! Are you worried about the goverment making Chevy and dodge pull out of Nascar?
IF all the leading manufacturers are out then NASCAR might as well be like the IROC series and give each driver an identically prepared Ford or Toyota and see who the better driver is! That being siad , we all know that the cars in IROC were never equal and neither will they be

I don't think the government will "make" Chevrolet and Dodge pull out of NASCAR. I believe both manufacturers will not be able to give the support to the the teams that they provided in the past. The NASCAR cars are pretty much "team" developed. The thing everyone should worry about is the fan apathy toward NASCAR. Television viewership is down and there are empty seats in the stands.Hey Nascar fans! Are you worried about the goverment making Chevy and dodge pull out of Nascar?
Even without factory support, Chevrolet will still be in Cup racing, even if it is "unoffically". Do some research on Nascar history. There's been several times when a manufacturer will "pull out " of the series, but help teams behind closed doors. The government knows that "Win on Sunday, Buy on Monday" still works to some degree.
Don't think it will happen. To take half of the manufacturers out of NASCAR would seriously impact the racing season. And a single NASCAR race brings in millions of dollars to the local economy for whatever city the race is in. Multiply that by all the races, and that is a lot of economic stimulus that the govt. won't want to do without. You'll see all 4 manufacturers back next year, I think.Hey Nascar fans! Yes GM will be filing bankruptcy within a few days now, Chrysler already has. The bankruptcy court will no doubt see factory support of racing as an extravegance that the companies can do without, so NASCAR will be one part of the busineses to get the axe. It will just be Ford and Toyota next season. Things are looking bleak for Chevy.
The government has no say over what kind of cars the teams want to use in competition. Chevrolet and Dodge can still compete with no financial backing from their manufacturers. So I'm not worried about it at all. In fact NASCAR only promotes these manufacturers, and even the government understands this.
No, I don't believe it will happen.

and for some reason it does I hope chevys go. You know that won't happen, the richest motorsports company (Hendrick) runs Chevys and it will be a cold day in hell when they switch to ford or toyotas.... So I guess Hendrick will just have to sit home and drink his wine and watch his money disappear! HALLELUJAH
Say What?!? I haven't heard anything about the Government trying to make Dodge and Chevy pull out of NASCAR! That is suprising!!

I hope neither Manufacturer has to pull out of NASCAR.
Yes I am worried about it.

Everyone should be worried about it Nascar fan or not. They will soon dictate what vehicle you drive and even what color it is.
I might see Dodge pulling out of the series in the next few years, as sad as I am to say that, but not Chevy seeing as they win the most races every year.
Chevy yes. Dodge...well as much as I love mopars, they're basically non exsistant when it comes to support as it is.
Ah hate to inform you but there are no chevies now-their COTs with a chevy logo.
I don't see it happening !!!!!
i dont see that happening
that's crazy talk it will not happen.
Thinking about that very hard I would say that the government would not make Chevy and Dodge pull out of NASCAR.

My reasoning is because

1) The government understands the power of advertising with NASCAR because they use NASCAR to advertise themselves with the Army and National Guard

and

2) If the government is investing money into Chevrolet and Dodge then they would not want to take their best form of advertising away and do more damage to Chevy and Dodge's reputation to make them go completely under.
I don't see a total pullout happening, maybe a reduction in participation, but that's all.

GO 24!!!!
Not really. I am more worried about Dodge than I am chevy. I wish toyota would pull out but that is a whole new topic.
I don't think they will. NASCAR is great advertising for what they put in.
