What kind of used truck should I get?

I soon will be working in Pittsburgh and I live about 45 minutes away. I can get there all highway. I love diesels, but im looking for under $20,000. I had a 1999 Ford F-250 super duty Powerstroke, I liked it but I wanna switch it up. I'm not one of those people who hate Chevys or Dodges, I will drive anything. Looking for decent mileage. Any help?What kind of used truck should I get?
You will NOT find any kind of great mileage with ANY of the new diesels. if you want a good powered diesel pickup that gets good mileage you need to look into an older Ford with the 7.3 or a Ram with the OLD I6 cummins. Duramax are O.K. for power but they are still bottom of the barrel when it comes to economy and the 6.2 and 6.5 Detroit Diesels are pure junk!! My "Ideal" truck would be a Pre-Superduty F-250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke and the ZF 5 speed transmission.What kind of used truck should I get?

well i have a 98 ford ranger 2.5 that gets abot 25 mpg mixed city and highway plus they are cheap and i have had no problems with mine and i drive it like i stole it
