Is it normal for Chevy's to have so many problems?

I had my 2002 Chevy silverado for a very short timr. In this short time I have replaced fuel pump, dist cap and rotor and right after replacing dist cap and rotor, smoke starts coming in through my vents. Is this just normal for Chevys? Is it normal for Chevy's to have so many problems?
just like the other guy said it was probably poorly mainted and the only thing bothered to be changed was the wind shield washer fluid. when a car is kept up you won't have problems. i have a oldsalero with 200,000 miles and its still going and i had to replace stuff to. i also got a ford Taurus and i had a vovle that had some problems. when your car goes over 100,000 you will have to replace little things here and there no matter what brand but if you fail to change the oil or the power steering or things like that you will have problems. its not the car or brands fault it's the drivers who fails to do up keep.Is it normal for Chevy's to have so many problems?
The vehicle is 10 years old and probably has been poorly maintained like most pickups, its not uncommon for any vehicle that age to have several problems. Everything breaks down eventually.
This vehicle does not have a distributor, nor the associated parts. Is it normal for Chevy's to have so many problems?
yea american car manufactures make crappy on purpose to get all of your money. either you have to fix stuff or get a whole new car which are both costly
Sounds like a chevy. Is it normal for Chevy's to have so many problems?
Yep pretty normal if you dont take proper care of it
