I am a student at UCD and need to find a job! I have restaurant serving experience but where to work? There is Cattlemens, Olive Garden, Chevys, Mortons, Bistro 33, BJs, Cheesecake Factory, and a few others within driving distance. Does anyone have experience at these places and if so could you please give me an idea of your tips too? Thanks!!What is the best restaurant for a college student to work in? (CA)?
I know people whom have said that The Cheesecake Factory is a great place to work, and people have more money to spend for tips. But you have to be on the ball at all times (like any other job I suppose). What is the best restaurant for a college student to work in? (CA)?
You should not work in a restaurant but bartend downtown instead....
Well mortons and cattlemens are the most expensive places so the tips will be large. Chevys, Olive Garden, BJ's, Cheesecake are all kind of the same price so choose one that has more people traffic i guess. Or you can work at UCD driving one of the red double decker buses lol. What is the best restaurant for a college student to work in? (CA)?
If you like a quick-paced atmosphere, I hear Buca di Bepo is tons of fun and has great pay and benefits. Cattlemens usually has an older, lower-tipping clientelle. Olive Garden has yummy food, I would want to work there!
I'de go Olive Garden. the food is relatively expensive and that usually means better tips. The only experience I have is from eating there. The waiters and waitresses are all young and very helpful with the menu. They also joked around alot and seemed to have a good time. What is the best restaurant for a college student to work in? (CA)?
if there is an outback steakhouse close by then i definitely say work there! i worked at 2 different outbacks in between home and my college town. best people and best job i've ever had. they do a personality test to screen their workers and i seriously woekd with some amazing people.
i've had friends that worked at olive garden who hated it. cheesecake factory seems like it would be a good place to work.. its nicer and the prices are a little more expensive so you can expect better tips.
good luck!
Cheesecake Factory for sure.... fun!! Fridays is a classic for college students also.
