How much would it cost to have someone else restore a muscle car from the ground up?

I don't know that much about cars and car parts. What I do know is that I love muscle cars and have always wanted one. I do not want to use it as a collectors item. I want to drive the hell out of it. How much would it cost to take a piece of junk car, with no rust, and turn it into a beautifully painted and fast machine? This mean new interior, new paint, and new engine. I love the old chevys like chevelle and camaroHow much would it cost to have someone else restore a muscle car from the ground up?
Well, you can spend as much money as possible. A basic starter budget is $25,000-30,000 but you can easily go much much higher. If you have a rare muscle car you want restored to perfection, it is easy to spend $100,000 or more on the job.

Seriously, you are much better off buying a car that has been restored. Its a lot cheaper and all you have to do is maintain the car and enjoy it. Lots of people spend $100,000 on a restoration but only get $40,000-75,000 when they go to sell it. to do everything is a massive amount of money. You could spend 10 grand or more on the body alone. you either need to be rich or know how to do it yourself.
