Owned and seen a lot more Dodges last twice as long with little problems than crappy ole Fords and Chevys. Why is this?

Dodge Trucks just last forever. Don't know why, they just do.
But I have noticed that Chevy Scottsdales last just as long.

I dunno but I sure had a Dakota go a long time with a gas v-6. I had over 300K on it when I sold to a nieghbor and was still going good(except brakes were a pain the whole time I had it, for some reason the brakes were not up to snuff) I kinda freaked how much things were like fuel pumps compared to Chevy but they lasted long and now Chevys are not cheap either. All those things have gotten expensive to buy. Oh well, I prolly should have bought another as this Toyota isn't all that like I thought it would be.How come Dodge Ram pickup trucks last so long?
A Dodge runs forever but they rust right out,Fords are just a pile of junk and The Chevy runs forever
