Why are chevys trucks better than fords?

I would like a straight answer not all this personal opinion bull i know that its personal opinion but i want to know facts I've all ways liked Chevy trucks better but most of my friends are ford truck people so what is the difference?Why are chevys trucks better than fords?
The Old Ford 7.3 diesel is a beast. Underpowered to today's motors but dead relaible. The newer 6.0L engines was a International Design and also complete crap. Ford's newest diesel (a 6.4 - I forget if thats actually the displacement) is a Ford design and pretty good. Chevy's small block v8's are always pretty good. Also their duramax line has been pretty good too ('01 to '04 engines had some issue - Again I forget - but Chevy stepped up and gave a 200k warranty for them. The only truck I would buy that has a gasoline engine would be chevy's old 8.4L v8. My neighbor has a part time shipping gig and he has over 300k on that motor. It has seemingly never-ending power and It'll pull or tow whatever you could possibly want.Why are chevys trucks better than fords?
I go by what the farmers in my area drive.

#2 - CHEVY/GMC



#3 - DODGE RAM (all the trailer haulers have Cummins equipped Rams)



#4 - TOYOTA (one only)



#5 - NISSAN (none)



My personal choice would be a FORD with a RAM CUMMINS DRIVE TRAIN.



Most truck choices are a personal preference thing. There are FORD drivers that would never consider another vehicle and vice versa. But in all honesty, most trucks today are almost equal in performance and quality.
Chevy tends to build a more stylish interior, Ford builds a more durable Heavy Duty chassis and Drive train, the half ton version of either is about equal. The Chevy Diesel is quieter, but the durability of the new Chevy diesel is still up for the Million Truck / 500k per truck test... Ford has that one hands down at last count... The gas engines are competitive but neither stand out in the crowd. Corrosion resistance for both is a problem after ten+ years... Damned if you do, Damned if you do not!Why are chevys trucks better than fords?
I work in Prudhoe Bay Alaska where we have to leave our trucks idling 24 hrs a day/ 7 days a week in Winter months and I can honestly tell you 90% of the truck up there are Fords if that says anything.
Why are Fords better than Chevies?

ford trucks always rust way faster like the 70-80's always rust out and if you were strong enough, and the chevy's don't rust as bad and have more torq.
Ford is more durable and they're so much more powerful. Chevy trucks are just for show, or hauling like a.. load of soccer equipment.
they aren;'t better. both are great trucks, btu ford is better and more durable.
They are both good trucks. What more is there to say.
