The bulb i have in there now gets too damn hot... like melty hot in just a few seconds. I'll never be able to put a dome cover on it and i am scared its going to burn fabric on the ceiling or make something change shape.Are there dome lights for classic chevys that don't burn so hot?
An LED bulb will not get hot and is very bright. You could also use a lower watt bulb (about half the wattage you are currently using) and that would also solve the problem. I would go with the LED bulb, though. It is very bright and also very cool. Try going to JEG's or J.C. Whitney website to find them.Are there dome lights for classic chevys that don't burn so hot?
